Save babies on #GivingTuesday by donating to National CMV

It’s that time of year again… where friends and families gather together to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and then, inevitably, to shop. Whether it’s venturing out to Black Friday with loved ones or shopping Cyber Monday from the comfort of your laptop, shoppers want to save and save big.

This holiday season, there’s a new opportunity to save and it’s what National CMV works towards every day of the year—saving babies from CMV.

1 in 150 babies in the United States are born with congenital CMV, putting them at risk for birth defects and developmental disabilities. Research shows that CMV is common, serious, and preventable, but with only 7% of women aware of CMV, crucial opportunities to educate women are being missed.

We invite you to join with National CMV on #GivingTuesday (November 29th) to show your support in our fight to #StopCMV. Started in 2012 by the United Nations Foundation, #GivingTuesday is “a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.”

How can you get involved?
